Replica Train Depot on Ben's Bargain Barn property or Old Fire Station One property to preserve railroad heritage.

Description:

Picture/Map:

The original Town Center Plan envisions celebrating the Town's railroad history. The Plan further states that reconstruction should draw from historical records to provide for accurate reconstruction at the former Fire Station #1.

Justification:

There are other alternatives that need to be explored to accomplish, in conjunction with other considerations. The Ben's Bargain Barn site has limitations with railroad ROW. Will need to consider potential uses such as staff office locations or storage facility and to evaluate cost associated with creating a replica as opposed to honoring railroad history.
