Program Guide September - December 2024 Morrisville Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources
July 26 - Resident August 5 - Non-Resident Program Registration Begins See page 18 for swim lesson registration dates!
Welcome Fall is just around the corner and our community will soon be filled with brisk air and decorated with beautiful autumn leaves. This is the time of year we put on our jackets and head outside. The change of the season will do nothing to slow down the Morrisville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources team. We are nearing the end of the project to upgrade amentities at Church Street Park (CSP). CSP, historically know for cricket, tennis and shelters, will feature two basketball courts, two volleyball courts, one sport court, cricket batting cages, and a second shelter. The department is busy working behind the scenes on the construction of the much-anticipated dog park. The dog park will offer two separate off-leash spaces, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. The site will include parking, fencing, and a controlled entry access. This 10-acre park will soon be filled with “sit,” “wait,” and “fetch,” as dogs of all sizes run and play. I hope you enjoy fall and its many opportunities by participating in PRCR’s community recreational programming! Continue to make it your goal to play often and live connected; and remember, these are the times best shared so, invite a friend to participant with you in one or more of PRCR’s programs! Fall/Winter program registration begins on July 26 for residents and Aug. 5 for non-residents. Register online at apm.activecommunities.com/mprplaymorr!
