ARTICLE I.

IN GENERAL

Sec. 2-1. Extraterritorial planning and zoning jurisdiction.

(1) The extraterritorial jurisdiction boundaries as delineated on the map entitled "Town of Morrisville, North Carolina, revisions to ETJ, May 18, 1987," now on file in town hall and open to inspection to the public, are hereby adopted as the official boundaries of the town's extraterritorial planning and zoning jurisdiction. (2) The town clerk is hereby directed to maintain this official ETJ map permanently in the offices of town hall. The map shall be recorded with the office of the register of deeds for the county. (3) The town staff and planning board are hereby directed to study the areas newly included in the town's jurisdiction by this section and to recommend to the town board appropriate zoning for these parcels of land.
