Notes: sf = square feet ft = feet a. Signs shall be printed directly on the face or valance of the awning and shall not be permitted on the sides of an awning. b. Awning signs shall be allowed on the ground floor only. c. In the TOD and MS districts, awning-mounted signs may project over a sidewalk located in the public right-of-way. d. Except where prohibited, a tenant in a multi-tenant building is allowed a second sign if the tenant is located on the corner of the building or if the building faces a parking lot and street. In no instance shall the signs be located on the same facade wall. e. A single tenant building is permitted a combined maximum of two wall-mounted fascia, projection fascia, and/or awning-mounted signs provided that not more than one of the sign type is used. A tenant in a multiple tenant building can have an additional third sign if the standards in d above are met provided that not more than two of the sign type are used and not more than one of the same sign type is on the same façade wall. f. Awnings shall not be illuminated from behind. Marquee Signs Description: A sign attached to or mounted to the top of a marquee. Max.
