L IGHT S OURCE The element of a lighting fixture that is the point of origin of the lumens emitted by the fixture. L IGHT T RESPASS The occurrence when light emitted by a lighting installation falls outside the boundaries of the property on which the installation is sited. This can have adverse effects on residents, vehicle operators and pedestrians, the natural environment. L IMITED -A CCESS H IGHWAY Thoroughfares so designated on the Morrisville Thoroughfare Plan where access is by at-grade thoroughfares and driveway cuts onto the limited-access road are prohibited. L IMITED F UEL /O IL /B OTTLED G AS D ISTRIBUTION The distribution of fuel oil or bottled gases, such as propone or liquid petroleum, in cans with volumes no greater than five gallons, for compensation. L OADING A REAS A portion of the vehicle use area where merchandise and/or supplies are delivered and unloaded. L OADING D OCK The area where trucks maneuver in order to back up against the loading and unloading platform.

L OCAL R ESIDENTIAL S TREET Street that is used primarily for access to the abutting residential properties. L OT A portion of a subdivision or any other parcel of land intended as a unit of ownership.

L OT A REA The total horizontal land area within the lot lines of the zoning lot.

L OT A REA , N ET See Section 11.4.1.A, Net Lot Area.

L OT , C ORNER A lot abutting two or more streets at their intersection.

L OT C OVERAGE See Section 11.4.1.E.

L OT L INE A line forming a boundary of a lot.

L OT L INE , C ORNER S IDE A lot line, other than a front lot line, separating the lot from an abutting public street right-of-way or private street easement. Generally, the corner side lot line is the longer of the lot lines abutting a street.
