surrounding development. It shall be the responsibility of the property owner to maintain a painted façade, and keep it in good condition to prevent a public nuisance.

(2) Multifamily Development

The color scheme found throughout a multifamily development shall include complementary hues. When a multifamily development includes three or more buildings containing dwelling units, use of the same color scheme on adjacent buildings is prohibited.

Accent Colors

a. Historic Crossroads Village All accent colors shall be compatible with the colors found on traditional buildings in the Historic Crossroads Village District. These accent colors range from a deep red and green hues to black.

b. Other Districts

All accent colors shall complement the primary color palette and should be limited to the awnings, doors, and roof materials. (See Figure 5.9.4.C: Example of Exterior Facade Color.) Figure 5.9.4.C: Example of Exterior Facade Color.
