subject to a criminal fine of up to $15,000 per day of violation, up to a cumulative total fine of $200,000 for each period of 30 days during which the violation continues. 2. Any person, firm, or corporation who knowingly or willingly violates any provision in Article 6: Riparian Buffers, or order made pursuant to Article 6, shall be guilty of a Class I felony and subject to a fine of up to$100,000 per day of violation, up to a cumulative total $500,000 for each period of 30 days during which the violation continues. 3. Any person, firm, or corporation who knowingly violates any provision in Article 6: Riparian Buffers, or order made pursuant to Article 6, shall be guilty of a Class C felony and subject to a fine of up to $250,000 per day of violation, up to a cumulative total one million dollars ($1,000,000) for each period of 30 days during which the violation continues. B. Violations of Stormwater Management Regulations Any person, firm, or corporation who violates any provision in Article 7: Stormwater Management, or order made pursuant to Article 7, shall be subject to the criminal penalties and fines set forth in Section 7.5, Enforcement and Violations. C. Other Violations In accordance with Section 14-4of the North CarolinaGeneral Statutes, any person, firm, or corporation who violates the provisions of this Ordinance other than those in Article 6: Riparian Buffers, or Article 7: Stormwater Management, shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a criminal fine of $500.

10.4.4. Cumulative Remedies and Penalties

The remedies and penalties provided for violations of this Ordinance, whether civil or criminal, shall be cumulative and in addition to any other remedy or penalty provided by law, and may be exercised in any order.
