C. Colors
1.
Primary Colors
a. Historic Crossroads Village (1) Exterior paint and roof colors shall be compatible with the palette of colors found on traditional buildings in the Historic Crossroads Village District. White and other light hues are the predominant primary building colors found in this District. (2) Use of dark or bright hues as a primary building color is not consistent with the historic character of the district and shall not be permitted.
b. Other Districts
(1) Group Living, Nonresidential and Mixed-Use Development
A maximum of three predominant colors or a range of complementary hues shall be permitted on the exterior of any one building. (See Figure 5.9.4.C5.9.3: Example of

Multifamily Development
The color scheme found throughout a multifamily development shall include complementary hues. When a multifamily development includes three or more buildings containing dwelling units, use of the same color scheme on adjacent buildings is prohibited.
