R AILROAD Y ARD An area for storing and switching of short-line and line-haul freight.
R AINWATER C ISTERN A catchment device to capture rain water from a roof or other surface before it reaches the ground, which may be either above or below ground level. R EAL E STATE S ALES O FFICE , T EMPORARY The temporary use of a dwelling unit or manufactured home as an office for the purpose of selling real estate during development.

R ECOGNIZED H ISTORIC S TRUCTURES Structures identified on the Reference Sheet of Recognized Historic Structures in the Town of Morrisville available from the Town of Morrisville Planning Department. R ECREATION F ACILITY , R ESIDENTIAL S UPPORT A private recreational facility for use solely by the residents and guests of a particular residential development, including residential subdivisions, multifamily, and mixed-use developments. R ECREATIONAL V EHICLE (RV) A vehicle that is (a) built on a single chassis; (b) 400 square feet or less when measured at the largest horizontal projection; (c) designed to be self-propelled or permanently towable by a light duty truck; and (d) designed primarily not for use as a permanent dwelling, but as temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, travel, or seasonal use. R ECREATIONAL V EHICLE R ENTAL AND S ERVICE An establishment engaged in the rental and service of recreational vehicles such as motor homes, travel trailers, boats, and campers. R ECYCLING D ROP -O FF S TATION A container or set of containers used for the collection and temporary storage of recyclable materials generated on-site. R ECYCLING F ACILITY Any land or buildings primarily used for the collection and storage of recyclable materials (e.g., waste paper, rags, scrap metal, bottles, glass, tires), the sorting, processing, and repair of such materials in preparation for shipment to others for use in manufacturing new products, and the direct sale of such materials. This use includes junkyards, salvage yards, and similar uses — but only to the extent such uses occur in conjunction with the principal recycling function and operations of the facility. R ECYCLING C ONTAINER A container used for the temporary storage of materials to be recycled.
