F UTURE C ONDITIONS F LOOD The flood having a one percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year based on future conditions hydrology. F UTURE C ONDITIONS F LOOD E LEVATION A determination of the water surface elevations of the one percent annual chance flood based on future conditions hydrology as published in the Flood Insurance Study. This elevation, when combined with the freeboard, establishes the “Regulatory Flood Protection Elevation” in Future Conditions Flood Hazard Areas. F UTURE C ONDITIONS F LOOD H AZARD A REA The land area that would be inundated by the one percent annual chance flood based on future conditions hydrology. F UTURE C ONDITIONS H YDROLOGY The flood discharges associated with projected land-use conditions based on the 1999 version of the Town of Morrisville Land Use Plan, and without consideration of projected future construction of flood detention structures or projected future hydraulic modifications within a stream or other waterway such as bridge and culvert construction, fill, and excavation. Future conditions flood discharges are published in the Flood Insurance Study. G ARAGE OR C ARPORT A structure used or designed to be used to provide shelter for the parking and storage of motor vehicles or boats. A garage is an enclosed building whereas a carport is a roofed structure open on one or more sides. Garages and carports are commonly attached to and considered part of a dwelling or other principal building, but may also exist as a detached accessory structure. G ARAGE OR Y ARD S ALE The temporary and occasional use of a garage or yard of a residential dwelling for the casual sale or miscellaneous items of personal property to the general public. G ARDEN C ENTER The retail handling, sales, and outdoor storage of any article, substance, or commodity related to, but not limited to the planting, maintenance, or harvesting of garden plants, shrubs, or small trees that can be carried by customers without the assistance of equipment or retail personnel.

G AZEBO A freestanding, roofed, open-aired accessory structure.

G LARE The effect produced by a light source within the visual field that is sufficiently brighter than the level to which the eyes are adapted, causing annoyance, discomfort or loss of visual performance and ability.
