BACKGROUND The Town of Morrisville (TOM) has a central role to play in establishing the policy and legal framework to implement the community vision for the McCrimmon TOD. At the same time, a number of other stakeholders must participate in order to bring this plan to fruition, including property owners, developers, residents, businesses, and agencies such as the North Carolina Railroad, Norfolk Southern, Triangle Transit, the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). This part of the plan identifies key action steps that should be pursued by the Town in collaboration with these and other stakeholders/agencies in order to help create the McCrimmon TOD.
