reimburse entities for additional street lighting that is above the standard streetlight spacing outlined in the UDO.

2)

The reimbursement shall only apply to the electricity and maintenance of streetlights.

3) The reimbursement rate shall be set by the current billing rate as of July 1st of the billing year.

(b)

Private Streets

1) The Town will not reimburse any entity for street lighting on private streets.

(2)

Street lighting Reimbursement Procedure

(a) Before any reimbursement will be made for street lighting, the entity responsible for streetlight payment must apply for a Street Lighting Reimbursement Agreement from the Town of Morrisville Public Works Department. No reimbursement will be considered prior to the execution of the agreement.

(b) Reimbursements will be made on an annual basis and shall cover the period of January 1 to December 31.

(c) Applications for reimbursement must be submitted to the Public Works Department by March 31 st for the prior calendar year. Applications received after March 31st will not be considered for reimbursement.

(d)

Applications for Reimbursement shall include:

1) A completed Town of Morrisville Street Lighting Reimbursement Form; and

2)

Copies of all bills applicable to the submitted reimbursement request.

(e) The Public Works Department will review the application for reimbursement and assess its conformance with the policy.

(f) If it is determined that the application is in conformance with the policy, the Public Works Department will process the payment request through the Finance Department.
