a. Signs shall be affixed to the building. b. In the TOD and MS Districts, projection signs may project over a sidewalk located in the public right-of-way. c. Except where prohibited, a tenant in a multi-tenant building is allowed a second sign if the tenant is located on the corner of the building or if a tenant space faces both a parking lot and street. In no instance shall the signs be located on the same facade wall. d. A single tenant building is permitted a combined maximum of two wall-mounted fascia, projection fascia, and/or awning-mounted signs provided that not more than one of the sign type is used. A tenant in a multiple tenant building can have an additional third sign if the standards in c above are met provided that not more than two of the sign type are used and not more than one of the same sign type is on the same façade wall. e. Except for buildings greater than 100,000 square feet, a sign shall be located on the facade wall directly adjacent to the business it serves. f. See Section 5.16.6(D) for additional illumination standards in the HCV and MS districts. g. Permitted on the ground floor only. Bracket-Mounted Signs Description: A sign hanging from a bracket attached to and projecting out from a building face or wall, generally at a right angle to the building and that may swing.
