5.16.5. Standards for Temporary Signs

A. General This section authorizes and regulates signage in addition to that authorized and regulated elsewhere in this Ordinance. Any temporary sign not listed in Table 5.16.5.C: Permissible Freestanding Temporary Signs or Table 5.16.5.D: Permissible Attached Temporary Signs is strictly prohibited. B. Duration The purpose of temporary signs is to display messages for a temporary duration. Temporary signs shall not be used as a subterfuge to circumvent the regulations that apply to permanent signs or to add permanent signage to a parcel proposed for development in addition to that which is permitted for permanent signs by this Ordinance.
