Each spring, the Town of Morrisville celebrates Holi, the Hindu festival of colors. Typically celebrated in the month of March, the festival is inclusive of all faiths and cultures, as one of the main themes of the festival is unity. So, while the Holi festival is rooted in Hindu tradition, it is a celebration that happens all over the world. The Holi festival is celebrated as a way to welcome in spring and to give people the chance to release their inhibitions and enjoy a new beginning. The Town’s festival is free, and it features dancing, Holi powders, artisan vendors, and food for purchase.
