Special Events & Cultural Resources
Morrisville celebrated Eid for the first time with an Eid Night Market at the Cedar Fork Community Center. The event featured two local halal food trucks, vendors, music, and free chai. This inaugural celebration welcomed more than 500 attendees, and staff plan to continue expanding the market in future years. First- Ever Eid Night Market Cultural Resources’ programming grew significantly, increasing from one program to seven. New offerings included celebrations for MLK Day and Black History Month, art classes, and a silent reading program at the Pugh House. Cultural programming will continue to be greatest area of expansion for the next several years. Increase in New Programs The event trailer debuted at the 2025 Red, White & Boom! event, featuring a custom wrap showcasing photos from Town events. The trailer has streamlined logistics, making setup and takedown faster and reducing staff hours. Special Events Trailer Launch
