C OLOR P ALETTE A color scheme that incorporates related colors of complementary hues and shades.

C OMMERCIAL U SE OR D EVELOPMENT Development whose primary use(s) is one (or more) of the principal use categories and use types listed under the Commercial Uses classification in Article 4: Use Standards, and as described in Section 11.3.1.G, Commercial Uses Classification.

C OMMON O PEN S PACE See Section 5.5.1.

C OMMUNITY C ENTER A place, building, area, or other facility used for providing social and recreational programs. The facility may be private or the facility may be open to the general public and designed to accommodate and serve significant segments of the community. C OMMUNITY G ARDEN A private or public facility for cultivation of fruits, flowers, vegetables, or ornamental plants by more than one person, household, or family. C OMPOSITE M ETAL W ALL P ANELS Factory engineered panels used mainly for exterior cladding on non-residential buildings. Panels are manufactured on a continuous lamination basis with metal facings encapsulating a foamed polyurethane core. Metal on these panels can be aluminum, stainless steel, copper or steel. C OMPOSITE W OOD Engineered wood manufactured by binding the strands, particles, fibers, flakes, chips, shavings, or veneers of wood, together with adhesives, to form composite materials. Composite woods include structural composite lumber and composite decking. C OMPOSTING F ACILITY A facility where organic matter derived primarily from off-site is processed by composting and/or is processed for commercial purposes. Activities of a composting facility may include management, collection, transportation, staging, composting, curing, storage, marketing, or use of compost. C OMPOSTING F ACILITY , S MALL An enclosed area at least 100 square feet in area that contains a compost tumbler or similar apparatus designed for the purpose of converting household kitchen and yard waste into fertilizer. C OMPREHENSIVE P LAN Those plans and policies adopted by the Town Council to address the Morrisville’s growth and development—including, but not limited to, the Land Use Plan, the Town Center Plan, the Wireless Telecommunication Facilities Master Plan, and other small area plans that provide guidance on desired development in specific geographic areas and corridors, as well as the Transportation Plan, the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, and other functional plans related to public infrastructure and services.
